A collaborative workshop exploring ways that we might work together on future research and teaching collaborations, primarily around themes of place-based energy transitions and futures. Organised by interdisciplinary fellow Dr Rebecca Macklin with guests Dr Sabrina Peric and Dr Doug Robb, Transdisciplinary Co-Leads for Energy Futures at the University of Calgary.

Description

After the workshop, there was a tour/demonstration of the National Decommissioning Centre in Newburgh. On the following day, there was a boat trip to one of the closer windfarms to make recordings on a hydrophone and promote understanding of the offshore energy system in the region.
