Participants joined the E-MBA Guest Speaker series to hear Dr Steve Pearce provide a workshop on resilience during crisis and change.Steve’s career has spanned senior executive positions in engineering, financial services, central government and education. He has frequently worked on boards and committees to drive change and/or manage high level responses to crisis events. The workshop involved:
-A case study about leading a 90,000 staff redundancy initiative at a FTSE company. The key causes and restructuring aspects of this transformational change will be discussed.
-Reflection on personal career change, across locations, roles and industries.
-Highlighting importance of resilience through change at the organisational and individual level.
The workshop involved a presentation from Steve, followed by an opportunity for participants to ask questions.
