I was invited to do a 10-minute speech reflecting on 25 years of Pushing Out the Boat, North-East Scotland's magazine of new writing and visual art. As part of the speech, I discussed my short story 'Día de los Muertos', written in Doric Scots and Mexican Spanish. This took place to an audience of 60 at the Cowdray Hall, Aberdeen.
