Invited by Palgrave Macmillan Education to carry out a thorough review of Mastering Arabic 2
Description
October 2018 – April 2019, I was invited by Palgrave Macmillan Education to carry out a thorough review of Mastering Arabic 2 (including accompanying audio & online material). This book is part of the Macmillan Mastering series. I examined the latest edition and provided detailed comments and advice on how to improve the book. I subsequently reviewed the script of a new edition and gave detailed comments to ensure that the new edition benefits from years of experience and informed feedback. After reviewing the draft new edition, it appeared that most of the amendments I recommended had been made.
As this is one of the most influential textbooks in the area, we anticipate that the Teaching and learning of Arabic as a foreign language at large will be impacted by this review
