At a time when global economies are recovering from disruption and considering the skills needed in their workforces for future growth, the UK nations are all pursuing the vision of lifelong learning in different ways. In Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland devolved administrations are exploring what ‘tertiary’ means for regulation, quality and collaboration. In England, lifelong learning is expected to form a key pillar of any incoming Government’s education plans.
The conference will explore how high-quality lifelong learning can be made a reality across all four nations of the UK.
