Aberdeen University Artificial Intelligence society and the Aberdeen GP society are excited to announce our AI in Healthcare event on Feb 4th, 18:00-20:00. The event will be held in room 203 at the Suttie Centre and will feature researchers from the University as well as doctors who are developing machine learning systems for the future. This is the perfect event for anyone interested in learning about the latest advances of AI in healthcare, the effect it will have on future careers and how the NHS is tackling the ethical questions surrounding the use of artificial intelligence.

Our speakers include:
• Dr Dimitra Blana - Lecturer in the Aberdeen Centre for Health Data Science and Biomedical Engineer
• Dr Magda Rzewuska - Researcher working on diagnosing limb fractures on X-ray via machine learning
• Dr Heather May Morgan - Lecturer in the Aberdeen Centre for Health Data Science and Social Scientist. Researching the ethics of AI in the NHS
• Dr Brian Morissey - Radiologist working on the iCAIRD project (Industrial Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research in Digital Diagnostics)
There will be free pizza! Please send us an email at / or press "going" on the Facebook event so we can get an idea of numbers. Facebook link to the event:
