Description

In this summarised short paper, we report into how university-based teacher educators in Scotland prepare new teachers to support all learners including those experiencing poverty and disadvantage. The main idea we present relates to supporting student teachers by widening what one of the tutors referred to as ‘example spaces’. What makes these ‘example spaces’ interesting is that they are co-constructed by student teachers and teacher educators.
