With Scotland’s new national screen curriculum launching, there is an opportunity to expand film education across the North East. Screen content already shapes young lives, so how can education help them navigate this world, build screen skills for the future, and create flexible pathways to develop both their creativity and their careers?

Description

The Aberdeen Cultural Summit is a research-and-outcome driven partnership between the University of Aberdeen, the Robert Gordon University, NESCol and local stakeholders. Featuring keynote speakers, workshops and screenings, the focus of this year's summit was on 'A shared vision for Screen Aberdeen’, encouraging conversations about both the role of the screen sector in the North East and what we can learn from other cities with similar geographies, challenges and opportunities.
