University of Aberdeen professor provides warning to 'protect remaining forests' in new study

David Burslem, a professor at the University of Aberdeen has been a co-author in the study alongside international experts from 29 universities and research centres.

The warning comes as research has revealed that nearly half of all trees planted as part of restoration programmes in tropical forests in Asia, do not survive more than five years.
