Researchers at the University of Birmingham evaluated the Injury Care Process Assessment Tool (ICPAT) across four low- and middle-income countries: Ghana, South Africa, Rwanda, and Pakistan.

Published in BMC Health Services Research, the study found the tool to be acceptable, appropriate, and feasible for evaluating injury care quality; although tool adjustments and recommendations for data collector training were also proposed.
