Organisation profile
Chemistry at the University of Aberdeen is dynamic, young, and research led with a unique interdisciplinary and international approach to research in the Chemical Sciences.
Research is organised into two broad themes:Biomolecular Chemistry and Materials Chemistry. These two themes are not exclusive; staff work in both themes, and both are supported by activities in Computational Chemistry.
We have international research links with many European countries, some sponsored by EU Framework grants, and Universities in the USA and Asia.
Underpinning this research is a unique collection of facilities and expertise.
