Research Profile
I am a marine biologist using field and museum collections along with genomic tools to investigate biodiversity and evolution in our oceans, with a particular focus on marine invertebrates and salmonids. My research interests span macroevolutionary patterns to microevolutionary processes, incorporating themes from molecular ecology, phylogenomics, systematics, evolutionary biology and conservation genetics. I am particularly interested in investigating the genomic basis of warning colouration and mimicry in marine molluscs, as well as predicting climate-linked biodiversity loss in our oceans.
