Lockdown Lore Collection Project
Description / Abstract
An archival collection project documenting people's creative responses to the coronavirus pandemic during and after lockdowns. The project has resulted in over 3000 archival items, along with 70 interviews conducted with people about their lives during the pandemic.
Key findings
Creativity is an innate aspect of our everyday lives and the pressures of the pandemic have revealed old and new forms of creative expression. Understanding creative outputs also gives insight into ways in which the pandemic has exacerbated inequalities in society.
