Abstract

아득한 [adeukan], adjective. Adeukan sound, that which is distant, far away, farther than its echos and my dreams, and continues to move away from me and even itself, that which never stays as it knows no place, but direction, that which scatters away in an unfathomable speed, that is, slower than the pulse of my breath, that which soars and flutters, with its face towards me, that which calls me, used to be me or to know me, that which causes me to ache, to stutter, to become mute — what do I say — that which is no longer of me, with me, for me, whose shape I have long forgotten, that which I long to hear again so that I could remember, for nothing is left of me other than a split of desire, a shell that has long been hollowed, ready to ring, or rather, to rattle at any moment, to break apart, to be spirited away, like an adeukan call.
