Abstract
The article discusses the travel writing and painting of Swedish landscape artist Carl Samuel Graffman in late-Georgian Scotland. The author reflects on Graffman's watercolor scenes depicting landscapes and historical sites such as Abbotsford, Roslin Castle, and Stirling Castle. Other topics include tourist trails, lithographer Carl Johan Billmark, and Graffman's time in a mental asylum.
