Abstract

A 60-year-old ex-smoker of 20 pack years was further evaluated following a few month history of malaise, weight loss and abnormal chest radiograph. Initial computed tomography (CT) showed (Figure 1) was suggestive of primary lung cancer. CT-guided fine needle aspiration of the mass revealed numerous neutrophils with no evidence of malignancy.
