Abstract

Working as a consultant in an organization gives ready access to people impacted by change and it was thus that our work examining the impact of change in civil servants began. Our research focused on staff’s perceptions of their job, work, career and the organization after change in the organization, exploring individuals’ responses to enforced change and this lead eventually to our working together when both Departments were amalgamated in 2005.
