Abstract
This 39-minute practice-as-research film set in Nuremberg explores the city's long history of antisemitism and violence towards its Jewish population. An interview the author conducted with Leni Riefenstahl, director of 'Triumph of the Will' (1935) features in the film, as do the ruins of the Nazi rally grounds. The title of the film relates to the city's legacy of toy making and a time when a number of its most prominent toy manufacturers were Jewish.
