Abstract
This report considers the issue of climate change adaptation as it applies to the UK livestock sector comprising the beef, dairy, sheep, pigs and poultry industries.[...] In this report, UKCIP 02 climate projections are applied across a representative set of UK regions to determine potential impacts across the main livestock categories. This information is developed with a view to quantifying a range of significant impact categories that can be expected under a central warming scenario. These impacts are necessarily limited to those that we currently consider most significant in terms of the potential cost to the industries and wider society.
