Abstract

A quasi-experimental pretest-posttest evaluation of the revised 6 week the Arthritis Foundation Walk With Ease (WWE) program was conducted in 468 individuals with self-reported arthritis from 27 urban and rural communities. Participants selected either instructor-led group (n=192) or self-directed (n=276) formats. Baseline and post-WWE program assessments were administered, with 93% group and 83% self-directed participant follow-up rates.
