Abstract

Introduces the geology of the area with a chapter on the geological history of NE Scotland. Provides a series of 24 excursions to illustrate the geology. The excursions have been utilised for undergraduate, extra-mural and Geological Society excursions for many years and comprise some of the best, easily accessible, localities in the area. There are 18 B/W plates and a small geological map of the area.-from Editors
