Monte Carlo simulation of the global nitrogen cycle

Research output: Contribution to conferenceConference presentation (Unpublished paper)peer-review

Abstract

The investigation of different climate models on the nitrogen cycle in the atmosphere and in other parts of the ecosystem is an important consideration in our changing world, and even more so now due to the increasing threat of global warming. A novel model of the global nitrogen cycle has been developed and implemented on a high performance computing array in order to examine stable solution states. This initial study gives an important insight into the likely parameter ranges governing stable nitrogen cycle states for
our environment.
