Abstract

Introduction & Objectives: It is increasingly difficult to critically summarise and synthesise studies of intervention effectiveness because outcome reporting, definition, and measurement are inconsistent. Crucially, perspectives of men treated for Prostate cancer (PCa) are often missing from outcome measures reported by clinicians. This is relevant in advanced PCa and palliative care where patient input on appropriate measures is critical. This study aimed to explore which outcomes are important to men with advanced PCa as part of the development of a core outcome set for advanced/metastatic PCa within the PIONEER project.
