Abstract

Purpose: Using a statistical shape model we have previously demonstrated significant changes in hip shape, captured by a change in mode scores, over 12 months in an OA cohort. The aim of this study was to assess whether baseline shape could predict 7 year progression to total hip replacement. We also investigated the relationship between baseline Kellgren-Lawrence grade (KLG) and 7 year hip shape.
