Abstract
Reply by Authors: Jazayeri and Balaji raise concerns regarding the methodology of the meta-analysis and query the usage of the fixed effects Mantel-Haenszel method as some studies that are included in the meta-analysis have 0 events (fig. 1). They suggest that the random effects model is more appropriate for analyses with 0 events. We have copied the analysis they refer to by using random effects and fixed effects models (fig. 2)....
