Abstract
Through the study of both policy framings and local rewilding conditions, this work investigates the different ways in which ‘social authority’ (Whatmore & Thorne, 1998) to heal broken nature is fostered, to determine if and how rewilding can deliver its transformative potential, without reinforcing existing injustices.
