Abstract

This presentation investigated data on women’s subsistence fishing in the context of shifting environmental and social conditions in the Inuvialuit community of Paulatuk. It proposed a methodology for incorporating women’s environmental knowledge into broader discussions of environmental change, non-renewable resource development and human-environment relationships in the Arctic.
