Alex Park (Honorary Research Fellow - University of Aberdeen) is a Senior Lecturer in General Dental Practice / Pharmacology at the UWA Dental School / School of Allied Health (The University of Western Australia). He is a clinician-researcher with diverse skill sets. Alex is an Australian registered pharmacist and a dentist with broad research and teaching profile. Alex is passionate about research, mentoring, and patient-centred care. He has published numerous research articles in international peer-reviewed scientific journals. In addition, he is also an associate editor of the International Journal of Pharmacy Practice [ISSN 2042-7174] and an editorial board member for BMC Oral Health [ISSN: 1472-6831]. Furthermore, Alex’s doctoral research, which he completed, broadly encompasses knowledge of dental medications in an Australian context. His research and supervision interest includes clinical pharmacy, pharmacy practice, dentistry, medicine, higher education, and public health.
