Research Profile

My current research focuses on medical applications for Fast Field-Cycling MRI (FFC MRI).

FFC MRI is a new technology of MRI scanners that provides the ability to change the main magnetic field during a scan. This seemingly simple modification can actually be used in a great variety of applications and brings much information that is otherwise unaccessible from conventional scanners.

At the moment I am working on applying FFC MRI for the detection or characterisation of several pathologies, from osteoarthritis to cancer or thrombosis. I am interested in any medical problem that involves detection or chearacterisation.
