The study is devoted to application of boundary integral equations to problems for interface cracks under harmonic loading. As a numerical example the problem for an initially opened linear crack under the normally incident tension-compression wave is considered. The problem is solved taking the contact interaction of the crack’s faces into account. The convergence of the iterative algorithm is analysed and the stress intensity factors (opening and transverse shear modes) are given in the wide range of the wave number.
