Abstract

As ISBER celebrates its 20th anniversary, we should be drawn to critically examine our past biobanking initiatives to assess the merits of their achievement and to learn for our future. A decade ago, Vaught et al.1 published in Biopreservation and Biobanking a review of 16 initiatives in biobanking networks and major national biobank programs.
