Abstract
The neurovascular supply to the first web space is recognised to be variable (Falconer and Spinner, 1985), but the supply to the second, third and fourth web spaces is more consistent. Although the anatomy of the common digital arteries (CDAs) and common digital nerves (CDNs) is well described in anatomy texts and medical literature, there is little comment about their bifurcation into digital arteries and digital nerves. Our study aims to address this deficit.
