Research output: Book/ReportCommissioned Report

Abstract

This report is a review to identify potential noise sources across the Moray Firth coupled with existing knowledge on the effects of underwater noise on bottlenose dolphins. This is followed by an analysis of underwater recordings of ambient, vessel and pile driving noise and an assessment of their potential impact on the dolphins. The management implications are discussed and suggested future research requirements are outlined.
