Abstract

This paper describes how the key concepts of inclusive pedagogy have been embedded in a one-year initial teacher education course, the Professional Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. It discusses how beginning teachers who have completed the PGDE but now work in different contexts are using the concept of inclusive pedagogy in their classrooms.
