In the seasons since the untimely death of John Webster in the spring of 2016, the theological venture of engaging his work – already an enterprise that had gathered some momentum in the later years of his life – has expanded apace. A number of research projects are currently devoted to the consideration of his writings; a variety of irregular essays on particular aspects of his thinking are at various stages of writing and publication; and a series of online conversations has provided ongoing interaction with his scholarship accessible to the widest possible audience. Events focused on and celebrating his work and legacy have been held at diverse institutions, while the reprinting of his corpus in various forms currently occupies the minds of publishers.
