Abstract

In the previous two chapters, we described how to design your de-implementation intervention. This chapter focuses on how to evaluate whether your de-implementation intervention reduced low-value care. Evaluation can serve two main purposes: to assess the effects of a de-implementation intervention in a specific context, and to produce results that are generalisable to different contexts. This chapter describes why it is important to evaluate interventions and how these interventions can be evaluated.
