Abstract

This report outlines the key changes in management practices which were implemented by farmers taking part in the Results Based Agri-environment Payment Scheme (RBAPS) pilot in Wensleydale. It details farmers’ perspectives about which particular management practices were important to under- take for the quality of their RBAPS land parcels, and discusses lessons learned from this pilot for the broader development of Environmental Land Management Schemes (ELMS).
