Abstract

Models the longer-term economic prospects from North Sea oil production and revenue. Estimates that the total recoverable oil is 19.1 billion barrels. This will not all be exhausted till around 2020, but government revenues from oil taxation will decline from the late 1980s.-T.O'Riordan
