Abstract

Speech and language therapy (SLT) interventions are complex in nature and implementation. The TIDieRtemplate is intended to improve description of interventions when reporting randomised controlled trials (RCTs).
Forty SLT services are taking part in PD COMM, a pragmatic, UK-wide RCT. We are investigating effectiveness, cost-effectiveness and implementation of Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT) and other Standard NHS SLT intervention for people with Parkinson’s and dysarthria. To help us describe therapy for the process evaluation, therapists and participants are completing Initial Interview Logs, Treatment Record Forms, Home Based Therapy Diaries and therapy notes.
