Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingForeword/postscript

This collection reflects the depth and breadth of contemporary scholarship in feminist bioethics, ranging from influential foundational concepts to innovative analyses of emerging topics. In this Introduction we have four main aims. The first is to contextualize the collection with a brief discussion about the nature of bioethics and the ongoing need for a feminist perspective. Our second aim is to provide a snapshot of developments in feminist bioethics since 2000. Third, we provide a readers’ guide to the volume, which outlines the content of each of the six parts in the Handbook. Finally, we offer a reflection on the process of “making” the Handbook, including the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic which started just a few months after we began recruiting authors.
