Abstract

The pamphlet is outlining the contents of two manuscripts (MG15G/2/1 and MG15G/2/2) housed as the Rev. Alexander Maclean Sinclair Collection in the Public Archives of Nova Scotia in Halifax, Canada. The manuscripts consist of two collections of Gaelic verse which were presented to the Archive in 1953 by the Rev. D. M. Sinclair, son of Alexander Maclean Sinclair and great grandson of the well-known poet Iain Mac Illeain – John Maclean – otherwise known as Bàrd Thighearna Chola (1787–1848).
