In this paper we present MusicMash2, an ontologybased semantic mashup application. The two main problems involved in building semantic mashup applications of this type are, flrstly, a lack of populated domain ontologies available on the Web and, secondly, the poor precision of standard search facilities provided by many folksonomy-based tagging systems. We show how our reusable infrastructure can address these two problems. Furthermore, to evaluate the beneflts of our approach, we compare MusicMash2 to its predecessor MusicMash, which is based on standard Web 2.0 techniques.
