Abstract

Lipid-soluble arsenic compounds have been the focus of the last decade on arsenic containing natural products due to the advances of analytical chemistry. At least 50 new compounds have been identified. The identification and quantification using HPLC-ICPMS/ESI-MS will be presented, which are key to study biosynthetic pathways and how their synthesis respond to different environmental conditions.
