Abstract

This report presents the results of the baseline audit for a quality improvement programme (QIP) addressing Topic 22a: The use of medicines with anticholinergic (antimuscarinic) properties in older people’s mental health services. During July and August, 57 NHS Trusts/healthcare organisations (See Appendix B) participated in this baseline audit, submitting data for 7915 patients under the care of 439 clinical teams.
