Abstract

The present invention relates to a process for performing the following reaction with a catalyst: CO2 + 4 H2 -> CH4 + 2 H2O
characterized in that:
- said catalyst is based on the combination of ceria and nickel; and
- said catalyst is activated by a DBD (dielectric barrier discharge) plasma.
