Abstract
The forty-second annual conference and AGM of the Scottish Legal History Group took place on Saturday 1 October 2022 at the Mackenzie Building, Old Assembly Close, Edinburgh. Abstracts of the papers presented are printed below, having been collated by the Secretary, Professor Andrew Simpson, now of the School of Law, University of Aberdeen (andrew.simpson1@abdn.ac.uk). Professor Hector MacQueen (University of Edinburgh) stepped down as Chair of the Group, and Professor Julian Goodare (University of Edinburgh) was elected to succeed him. The next conference is provisionally scheduled for Saturday 7 October 2023 and anyone interested in attending is invited to contact the Secretary.
