This paper will introduce an interdisciplinary course “The Digital Society” offered to first year students at the University of Aberdeen.
Method
this is offered to around 200 students from throughout the University, with teaching from experts in Computer Science and Law. Teaching is based on problem based team learning (for example debates and posters) with an element of peer review, supplemented by introductory lectures, and demonstrator led
workshops.
Argument
the paper will share the experiences of the teaching team and explore possible lessons for teaching and learning in law in the future.
