Abstract
DREGO (1983) NOTED IN her article how Berne’s (1963) seminal work on Transactional Analysis is influenced by the ‘anthropological view of culture’. I would like to suggest that anthropological inquiry could inform our practice and research as transactional analysis therapists. I include a brief ethnographical account to illustrate the potential application of this approach.
