Abstract

With increasing interest in the quality of published research within the scientific community, inadequate reporting has been identified as a widespread issue in biomedical research for several years (Glasziou et al., 2014). Poor reporting of research is unethical, it wastes time and valuable resources and can be potentially detrimental to patient care (Moher, 2018).
