Abstract
The problem of the reflection of a finite amplitude, plane, uniform shock wave is investigated. It is shown that the inclusion of non-linearity produces effects which are not met in linear theory. By using techniques devised to solve the analogous problem in inviscid gas theory, the reflection configurations for the whole range of angles of inoidence are discussed.
